It is directly connected to the Shinkansen station, and can be accessed from Tokyo in as little as 75 minutes without leaving the station, making it a highly convenient ski resort. The ski resort is divided into three major areas: the Central Area, the Northern Area, and the Southern Area, and you can ski with a GALA Ski Pass. The Central Area is located at the entrance to each area, has well-maintained slopes, is close to the sledding slope and the Cheers Lounge, and is popular with families. The Northern Area has a wide view and a variety of scenery, making it suitable for skiers of various levels. The Southern Area has excellent unpaved slopes where intermediate skiers and skiers can test their skills. In recent years, a new observation deck has opened next to the summit of the mountain, and a cable car can take you to the top.
