Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort
Kusatsu Onsen is famous throughout Japan, but not many people know that it has an excellent ski resort. The slopes stretch around the foot of Mt. Honshirane, the snow quality is excellent, and the scenery is beautiful, making it a good place for a relaxing skiing experience. The slope lengths for beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers account for 50%, 30%, and 20% respectively. Kusatsu Onsen, which has a history of over 1,000 years, is one of the three most famous hot springs in Japan, and the natural hot spring discharge is among the best in Japan. It is also known as the location for the famous movie "Roman Baths". You can also visit the large "Yuda" hot springs located in the center of the hot spring town.
