Sapporo Bankei Ski Resort
Sapporo Bankei Ski Resort is an urban ski resort located 20 minutes drive from Sapporo city center. It is open until 10pm and offers ski slopes for beginners, families, intermediate skiers, and advanced skiers who want more technique and excitement. The resort also has one of the largest half-pipe snow slopes in Japan, measuring 180 meters in length, 20 meters in width, and 17 degrees inclination, making it extremely popular. It is also known as the venue for the 2016 Sapporo FIS Snowboarding World Cup and the 2017 Sapporo Asian Winter Olympics (freestyle skiing and snowboarding).
