Shiga Kogen Kumanoyu Ski Resort is located on a plateau at an altitude of 1,700 meters, and boasts high-quality powder snow and a wide variety of slopes due to the natural terrain. The excellent quality powder snow here is called "Kumanoyuki". With a lot of new snow, the slopes meet the different needs of beginners to advanced skiers, providing people with a good skiing experience. The ski season lasts for half a year, from late November to early May of the following year. If you go up the mountain on the second twin ropeway, you can see the magnificent view of the Northern Alps, including Mt. Norikura and Mt. Tateyama, which is very impressive. The ski resort is located right next to the Kumanoyu Onsen Hotel, and the hot spring is a sulfur spring, where you can bathe to your heart's content.
